HEALTH IS WEALTH.....AND HAPPINESS!
Everyone wants to be healthy. Health is Wealth...which also leads to Happiness! So its like a chain reaction actually. So don't underestimate the importance of these 'three amigos". Very few of us are naturally born to be healthy from cradle to grave. Within our life expectancy, there will be days where we are down either with a flu, tummy cramps, migraine, diabetes, hypertension or even cracked bones for not having enough calcium intake. The list goes on...and on. I could have hypertension myself just for writing them all down here!
So what do we do? Either go to the chemist to get some medicine off the counter, see a doctor, herbalist, naturopath or even a witch doctor for some people! There are also many people I know (Including some of my own family members..Yes, I will make you anonymous!) who just won't do nothing. Either too scared to see the doctor or they prefer to let the body heal by itself.
Some choose to get the health problem treated first then turn to practising a healthy lifestyle with these FIVE EASY STEPS:
EXERCISE...EXERCISE....AND EXERCISE (that's already three!), followed by a HEALTHY DIET (Which is harder than exercise!)
AND not to forget their baby sister...DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS.
How many of us today take supplements to give our body that extra boost to promote our health? Please raise your hands, MAKE COMMENTS or simply Click LIKE.

P/S: I went to do the laundry, went out for coffee with friends...and did some lingerie shopping. Well they had the SPRING SALES going on!
OK. I see none at the moment. Fair enough.
So why people are taking supplements?
People take supplements to ensure they get sufficient essential nutrients and to improve their overall health.
Some people believe they are well off without. Some people just can't do without, like they are like some kind of fertilisers that nourishes their bodies!
NOTE: I am NOT a certified doctor, pharmacist, dietician, health practitioner or a nutritionist to give professional advice.
I am just sharing my thoughts and opinion in regards to the consumption of supplements to add into our busy and active lifestyle. Like I said, Health is Wealth...and Happiness! And who on earth doesn't want to be happy!
Some research has suggested that some supplements can enhance our health such as multivitamins, calcium and vitamins B, C and D. Calcium supports bone health and vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium. Pregnant women need lots of iron (Unless she is married to Popeye the Sailorman, a sailor who has spinach breath and has a pipe stucked on to his mouth 24/7! Who wants a husband like that anyway!
According to The Landmark Study, conducted in collaboration with the University of California at Berkeley, which is the first study of long-term users of multiple supplements:
